Our group’s topic of blog
and video is about game, especially video games and computer games.
Also known as computer
games are video
games played on a general-purpose personal
computer rather than a dedicated video game
console or arcade machine. Their defining characteristics include a lack of any
centralised controlling authority and greater capacity in input,
processing, and output. Computer game already be a very well-know word in the modem
young people. From the classically basic game minesweeper, spider solitaire and
hearts to any huge game, many new games released in every year. Computer game
have become an industry. Computer game industry pull in $74.4 billion by the
end of 2011 up 10.4 percent from the $67 billion spent 2010. The reason why we
have chosen this topic, it is because the members in our group like playing game
in leisure time and computer game have become the topic in daily conversation.
The largest challenge is how to select appropriate information
put on the blog. Because to make a great blog, we should be stay on topic and update frequently. The article is the subject of the eye in order to post
eye-catching, we must first have a good and interesting topic, then people
will desire to drill a look and explore the good topics for you on the success
of the half. People will keep browsing when the information on the blog is
appealing, therefore choose what information on blog is a largest challenges.
The final design that we used for the game
banner that relate to the topic. Also the background we choose to use black
because black can pass the messages mystery and discover to the viewer and
audience. For each post, we used normal font size and ‘Times’ as
font family. Although, we get rough a bit at end of due date, because this
summer course is a short period. But, we are putting a lot of energy to make
our baby blog as good as possible. There also have some YouTube links we want
to share to the viewer.
Compare to other users’ blog. We found out
their blog and our blog have similar content and messages that need to pass to
the viewer which is share the interest with everybody. However we still had used
some Wikipedia or Google engine to ‘borrow’ some information. Because we don’t really
comprehend with the histories of the games when we are play the games.
In conclusion, games are like puzzles, we
need to match the correct piece to the user and lead them to enjoy the process
of the game. Also we had a lot of fun within this ISYS100 as our one subject of
summer course. Although the time period is short but we still enjoined it very
much. Hope we will receive a nice mark and to welcome our summer holiday.
